1) Public Relations Specialist

About the position:
We are currently seeking a Public Relations Specialist . This position will be based at our San Mateo, CA headquarters.

Duties will include but will not be limited to:
Design publicity materials for medical imaging company’s website and brochures; create content for new brochures as new medical imaging products are developed; maintain company website.

The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:
o BA in Media Arts or Communications
o Two years experience
o Have strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal

2)Aquarius Software Development Lifecycle Coordinator

Co-ordinate the smooth execution of the software development lifecycle for the Aquarius software product line.  Interact with stakeholders to clarify the requirements for development.  Deliver development requirements to Engineering.  Co-ordinate the beta and clinical validation phases through direct liaison with subject matter experts. Ensure that all requirements of TeraRecon’s Business Management System, including the Food And Drug Administration Quality System Regulations, are fulfilled during development process.  Directly interface with Quality Assurance, Engineering and other departments in Company’s Tokyo, Japan and Concord, MA offices.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in any related Engineering field and at least 2 years of experience with the design and development of medical imaging products in compliance with Food and Drug Administration regulations, including interaction with subject matter experts during the requirement definition, beta and clinical validation phases of product development.

This experience must include the following:

  • Experience with x-ray and gamma-ray imaging techniques and understanding of the fundamental principles of the same;
  • Experience with the operation and intended uses for the Aquarius product line of x-ray and gamma-ray image processing software;
  • Preparation and filing of CFR Section 510(k) premarket notification clearance applications for medical devices; and
  • Understanding of product development lifecycle processes and Business Management Systems for medical devices in the context of FDA-compliant design and development.
