Platinus Ultrasound

Platinus is an exciting new line of fully digital, portable, and cart-based ultrasound scanners based on TeraRecon’s XTrillion processor. The Platinus line consists of two fully digital, portable ultrasound systems: the 780 and 785. Platinus 780 and 785 offer a wide range of clinical applications. Both systems are fully digital and portable and powered by TeraRecon’s XTrillion chip technology. They provide easy of use, intuitive operation; maximum performance, and value.

Each system comes standard with two active probe ports, and a large (15-inch), high resolution color LCD with the highest contrast ratio and luminance available. Standard imaging modes include: B-mode, tissue harmonic, M-mode, color Doppler, power Doppler, spectral Doppler (PW), and auto trace. The Platinus 785 is equipped with a dual receiving digital beam former. Both systems offer ECG capability and Tissue Harmonic Imaging (THI) with 3-THI levels with multi-frequency transducers.
